When women come together in a circle around a shared intention, something magical happens. As our energies connect and spur each other on, support, encouragement, and growth is born. We release attachments to competition, healing our connection to ourselves, the earth, and each other.
Each women’s circle is catered to the unique energy and needs of the group. A session starts with a sound cleansing and smudge, followed by a short guided meditation to centre us. From there, we’ll discuss a specific theme inspired by the seasons, astrology, or whatever is present for the group.
You’ll leave feeling grounded, connected to yourself, a community of women, and spirit.
Format & Location: Circles are held online and in person and may change with each offering.

For centuries, women have gathered in sacred circles, sharing stories and wisdom while their hands worked, spinning yarn and weaving cloth, their voices intertwining like vibrant threads. They spun not just fibers, but the very fabric of their world, weaving tales of wisdom, experience, and mythology, to be passed down through generations.
"Humans are narrative creatures…. If the mythology and history of our culture include women who are wise, powerful, and strong, it opens up a space for women to live up to those stories, to become wise, powerful, and strong. To be taken seriously and to have our voices heard." — Sharon Blackie, If Women Rose Rooted
Are you yearning for a space where your story, and the stories of others, are not only told but deeply heard? A place where women's voices are valued, witnessed, and celebrated?
Welcome to Tapestry Talks—an inclusive circle where all who identify as women gather to listen to the unfolding journey of a courageous, creative, and magical woman. Each woman's story is a unique thread in her life's tapestry. By listening, we weave her story into our own, creating a rich and vibrant tapestry of connection and empowerment. Holding space for her voice validates her journey, and in doing so, strengthens our own. Together, we reclaim our power, stand more fully in our truth, and uplift our communities simply by being more present and aware.
Arriving & Settling – We begin by greeting each other, sharing tea, and creating a sense of ease in the space.
Grounding & Opening – A brief welcome, introduction to the circle, and a short centering meditation to bring us fully into the present moment.
The Story – One woman shares a story, one life thread from her grand tapestry. Whether a familiar face or a new voice, her story is a gift, nourishing, inspiring, and reminding us of our own resilience and creativity.
Reflection & Connection – We take time to acknowledge the story, reflect on our own experiences, and connect with those around us in smaller conversations. We then open the space for a larger group discussion, weaving our shared insights together.
Closing & Community – We conclude with another cup of tea and connection, as we return from the sacred space we’ve created. We leave emboldened, grounded, and held within the ever-growing, ever-beautiful tapestry of women’s wisdom.
Your voice belongs here. Your presence strengthens the weave.
Join us.
Note: This group was inspired, in part, by the incredible women’s group OWYAH on Vancouver Island. Their work has been a guiding light, and I am deeply grateful for the inspiration they have provided.
